Professional Development for Foresters
Ethics for Registered Foresters The Ethics course is one hour of time spent online viewing a presentation and answering scenarios on what you have learned. Once you have registered for the course, you will receive access and instructions on how to view the materials online. You will only have access for 30 days. You will receive a certificate of completion once you finish the course. Fee: $59.00 (must be received before access granted) CFE credits - you will earn 1.0 Category I CFE for this course. For more information contact: Dixie Cartwright Forest Resource Practices and Principles: Study Guide Lecture Series for the Mississippi BORF Exam. This study guide lecture series covers subjects that will be covered in the Mississippi BORF Exam. Once you have registered for the course, you will receive access and instructions on how to view the materials online. You will only have access for 30 days. Topics covered include:
Fee: $150.00 (must be received before access granted) For more information contact: Dixie Cartwright Prescribed Burning Short Course This hybrid (online and face to face) short course consists of approximately 21 hours of class room and field work in addition to the completion of the S-290, 32 hour online pre-course. The S-290 online pre-course MUST be completed prior to attending the face to face portion of this course. Participants completing the online S-290, Intermediate Wildland Fire Behavior and Prescribed Burning Short course will understand:

Upon completion of the S-290, Wildland Intermediate Fire Behavior and the Prescribed Burning Short course you will earn 54 hours of CFE credit and will qualify to take the Mississippi Certified Managers exam.
