Ethics for Registered Foresters

The Ethics course is one hour of time spent online viewing a presentation and answering scenarios on what you have learned. Once you have registered for the course, you will receive access and instructions on how to view the materials online. You will only have access for 30 days. You will receive a certificate of completion once you finish the course.

CFE credits - you will earn 1.0 Category I CFE for this course.

Prescribed Burning Short Course

Date: October 2009
Location: Memorial Hall, MSU Campus
CFE Credits: Category I, 23
Fee: $400 (MFC employees - $250)

Who Should Attend?
If you prescribe fire or apply fire, or plan to in the future, you will greatly benefit from this course. This course is designed for professional forest resource managers. Registered Foresters, landowners, or anyone interested in prescribed burning will also find this course to be an excellent value.

Prescribed Burning Prerequisite
If you are new to this course, you will need to take a prerequisite that is provided by Mississippi State University FREE upon your registration in the MSU Prescribed Burning Short Course. This self-paced correspondence course provides an understanding of several topics that are a must for prescribed burning certification. Upon satisfactory completion, you will be ready to take the Prescribed Burning Short
Course. You will also receive 10 Category 5 CFEs.
